Morris Graduates from Kentucky’s Credit Unions Emerging Leaders Program
Signet Federal Credit Union® is proud to announce that Rachel Morris, Advocacy Ambassador and Operations Specialist, has graduated from the Emerging Leaders program through Kentucky’s Credit Unions. The eight-month leadership development program provides credit union professionals with opportunities to expand their industry knowledge, strengthen leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in advocacy and the credit union movement.
Throughout the program, Morris participated in educational and leadership development opportunities designed to deepen her understanding of the credit union industry and the important role advocacy plays in protecting and advancing the cooperative financial model. Her experience also included opportunities to engage with state legislators and representatives on issues impacting credit unions and the members and communities they serve.
“Rachel has a genuine passion for learning, serving others and making sure the voices of credit union members are represented,” said Jimmilyn Hancock, CEO and President at Signet Federal Credit Union®. “What makes us especially proud is knowing she is taking what she learned through this program and bringing it back to Signet, our members and Western Kentucky. Developing leaders like Rachel helps ensure the credit union movement remains strong for generations to come.”
Morris serves as Signet’s Advocacy Ambassador in addition to her role as Operations Specialist, helping strengthen awareness and engagement around legislative and regulatory issues affecting credit unions. Her participation in the Emerging Leaders program further supports Signet’s commitment to developing employees who understand not only the day-to-day work of serving members, but also the broader credit union movement and the importance of advocating for its future.

Her willingness to step outside of her everyday role, continue learning and speak on behalf of the members we serve is something worth celebrating.”
