Signet Showdown Scholarship

We are proud to Partner with West Kentucky Community and Technical College.

The Signet Showdown presents a fresh chance for students and nearby businesses to join forces. Teams comprising WKCTC students and technical businesses of similar nature will engage in friendly competition. The ongoing 2024 Signet Showdown spotlights welding, with the introduction of three additional categories: nursing, auto, and diesel tech, making a total of four exciting competition segments.

  • To qualify to receive this Signet Scholarship student(s) must:

    • Enter WKCTC as a student without a bachelor's degree or higher.

    • Be admitted to WKCTC as a technical-seeking student.

    • Be at least 20 years of age by August 15, 2023;

    • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the first day of first semester enrolled

    • Complete Work Ready Scholarship application (if applicable);

    • Enroll and complete at least six credit hours for each semester;

    • Maintain a 2.0 GPA;

    • Must enroll in WKCTC courses;

    • Be a Kentucky resident in Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Crittenden, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, or McCracken
