The Voices That Built Signet Receive National Award
“Voices of the Vault” campaign receives Category’s Best in Brand Awareness in record-breaking competition at the 2026 Diamond Awards
March 27, 2026 | PADUCAH, KY — Signet Federal Credit Union has been named a 2026 Diamond Award recipient by America’s Credit Unions Marketing, PR & Development Council, earning national recognition for excellence in credit union marketing and communications.
Signet received Category’s Best in Brand Awareness for its “Voices of the Vault” campaign, a storytelling initiative created to preserve and share the legacy, values, and community roots that have shaped the credit union since 1939.
This year’s Diamond Awards drew a record 1,481 submissions, with just 181 organizations from 42 states selected as winners. In total, 330 awards were distributed, recognizing the most effective and innovative marketing efforts across the credit union industry.
“For a community credit union like ours to be recognized on a national stage in a category as competitive as Brand Awareness is incredibly meaningful,” said Katelynn Rowe, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Signet Federal Credit Union. “Voices of the Vault was built to honor the people, sacrifice, and service that shaped this institution from the very beginning. We wanted to tell a story that felt honest to who we are — rooted in history, built by community, and still deeply relevant today. To see that resonate at a national level is something we’re incredibly proud of.”
The campaign highlighted stories from Signet’s legacy leadership and connected the credit union’s railroad roots to the values that still define it today. Founded in 1939 by Illinois Central Railroad workers who pooled coins in a suitcase to help one another through hard times, Signet remains the oldest financial institution founded in Paducah still in operation today.
“We are proud to recognize Signet Federal Credit Union and this year’s Diamond Award winners for their entries that deliver both creativity and results,” said Lorrell Bellotti, Diamond Awards Co-chair and Chief Marketing Officer at Western Vista Federal Credit Union in Cheyenne, Wyoming. “These entries demonstrate an understanding of the people we serve and strategic execution that delivers measurable impact.”
This marks a historic milestone for Signet as the credit union’s first-ever Diamond Award win and one of its first national recognitions for marketing excellence. As a member-owned financial cooperative serving Western Kentucky, Signet continues to invest in storytelling, education, and community connection that reflects the people and places it was built to serve.
