Signet Federal Credit Union Promotes Six Leaders to Carry Forward 87-Year Legacy

PADUCAH, KY (February 26, 2026) — Signet Federal Credit Union has promoted six team members into key leadership roles as part of its continued growth and long-term strategic vision. Following action by its volunteer Board of Directors, Margaret Driskill has been named Executive Vice President; Jackie Hamblin and Michelle Rhoden have been promoted to Senior Loan Officer; Ashley Paxton has been named Vice President of Risk and Compliance; Cheyenne Gilbert has been promoted to Vice President of Finance; and Katelynn Rowe has been named Vice President of Marketing and Communications.

“These leadership advancements reflect where Signet is headed,” said Jimmilyn Hancock, Chief Executive Officer of Signet Federal Credit Union. “As we continue to grow, we must ensure we have the right structure and the right leaders in place to carry this institution forward. Our Board’s support of these roles demonstrates a shared commitment to strengthening Signet not just for today’s members, but for generations to come. We are building on a legacy that began in 1939, and that responsibility requires thoughtful leadership and vision.”

The expanded executive structure positions Signet to meet increasing demand in lending, financial stewardship, regulatory oversight, and community engagement while maintaining the personal service that has defined the credit union for 87 years.

Founded in 1939 when local IC railroad workers pooled their change in a shared suitcase to support one another, Signet Federal Credit Union is now the oldest locally founded financial institution in Paducah, serving members across 11 counties. What began as a simple act of cooperation has grown into a $382+ million member-owned cooperative serving more than 20,000 members throughout Western Kentucky.

As Signet continues to invest in its team and infrastructure, the credit union remains focused on its founding philosophy — People Helping People — and its commitment to protecting and strengthening the financial futures of the communities it serves.
