Signet Federal Credit Union® Named Best Credit Union for Fourth Consecutive Year, Earns Best Lending Institution in 2026 Readers' Choice Awards

PADUCAH, KY. — For the fourth consecutive year, Signet Federal Credit Union® has been voted Best Credit Union in The Paducah Sun Readers' Choice Awards. In addition to the top honor, Signet was also named Best Lending Institution and recognized as a finalist for Best Bank, Best Customer Service, and Best Bank Teller: Melissa Agent.

Each year, The Paducah Sun Readers' Choice Awards invite community members from across the region to nominate and vote for the businesses, organizations, and professionals they believe represent the very best in Western Kentucky. The awards are determined entirely by public votes, making the recognition especially meaningful because it comes directly from the people and communities those businesses serve.

"This recognition belongs to our members, our employees, and our community," said Katelynn Rowe, Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Signet Federal Credit Union®. "To be chosen by the people of Western Kentucky as the Best Credit Union for four consecutive years is an incredible honor. Being recognized as the Best Lending Institution alongside that award reinforces what has always been at the heart of Signet—helping people achieve their financial goals with local decisions, personal service, and a team that genuinely cares."

As a member-owned financial cooperative founded in 1939 by local railroad workers, Signet continues to operate with the philosophy of People Helping People. Unlike banks with shareholders, every decision is made with members and the community in mind. From mortgages that stay local to financial education, scholarships, community events, and personalized lending solutions, Signet remains committed to investing in the people and communities it serves throughout Western Kentucky.

The additional finalist recognitions for Best Bank, Best Customer Service, and Best Bank Teller reflect the dedication of Signet's entire team and the relationships they build with members every day.

"This award isn't about one person or one department," Rowe added. "It's about hundreds of small moments—every phone call answered, every loan closed, every problem solved, every smile at the teller line, and every member who trusts us with one of life's biggest decisions. We are incredibly grateful for that trust and never take it for granted."

Serving more than 20,000 members across 11 Western Kentucky counties, Signet Federal Credit Union® continues to focus on providing financial products while remaining deeply rooted in the communities it serves.
