2020 Can’t Stop Us From Spreading a Little Hope
You’ve experienced challenges this year. And yet, you’ve continued to stand. 2020 can’t stop us. It’s taught us more about ourselves and what matters most to our families. It’s taught us more about our community and just how important unity is. It’s taught us to keep giving, even when we don’t think we have much left to give.
Holidays of Hope looks a little different this year, but that’s not stopping us from spreading hope to local charities. Each Fall, we look for 501c3 nonprofit organizations who are making a difference in our community to donate our time and financial support.
This year’s recipients are certainly deserving. Through their services, they provide support, advice, friendship, encouragement and stress relief to people across western Kentucky. We chose these organizations because these are the same qualities we try to embody at Signet, too.
This year, we awarded donations to six different charities across the region from Paducah to Murray.
-
Marcella’s Kitchen
Marshall County families and elderly are so blessed by this organization! If you would like to help provide local residents with meals, donate to Marcella’s Kitchen here!
-
Hope Center in Mayfield
What an amazing work they do to help local moms and dads make healthy choices not only for themselves but for their children. COVID-19 may have shut down their in-person classes, but they continued providing wipes, diapers, food and more to those who needed it. Currently they’re gearing up for their annual Santa Shop that allows clients who qualify to choose gifts for their children such as a new bike, basketball goal or new clothes.
If you would like to help us support Hope Center, you can drop off diapers/pull-ups/wipes or mail a donation to:

Paducah Christmas Cops Program
Local kids have the opportunity to shop with a cop for their own Christmas presents! This year we were excited to support this great endeavor and all that our local law enforcement do for our community.
-
Paducah Cooperative Ministries
We have partnered with PCM in the past as they respond to so many different needs across McCracken County. They support the homeless community and provide food and nutrition assistance to local families in need. You can learn more about volunteering, donating or requesting assistance here.

Soup for the Soul in Murray
70 meals a night, 5 days a week. That’s how many people Soup for the Soul feeds every week. Plus, they began a new Lunch and Literacy Program this past summer where they fed 270 kids weekly, providing them with books to take home too. We are so thankful for the opportunity to help serve our Murray community! If you would like to help, donate to Soup for the Soul here.

Project Diehard
“Your donation is our ammunition to fight the war on veteran suicide.” That’s what Project Diehard says about any donation they receive. This organization works to bring public awareness to veteran suicide and assist veterans in coping with the stress and difficulties in transitioning from active-duty military to civilian life. Learn more about what Project Diehard is doing for our local veterans.
We believe in people helping people. It’s at the core of Signet and we hope our simple acts of kindness will help inspire you to act too. Every person has the capability of making a difference in the life of another.
